I am enthralled by the concept that the art of a tattoo only lasts for as long as the wearer lives.
Since learning to tattoo, I find I become more and more fascinated by the reasons people get tattoos, and feel honoured, and sometimes awed, (sometimes disturbed!!) by the stories people share about themselves and their lives that prompt them to wear a reminder of that indelibly.
I have always loved art and music, and tattooing and piercing seemed to walk into my life hand in hand with that – I feel extremely fortunate to be doing something I get up and look forward to every day!
I try to turn my hand to pretty much all styles, but pieces with really fine or tiny detail are definitely for me. I think it’s important to be able to not only tattoo on “fresh, unblemished” skin, therefore I also do a lot of cover-ups, reworks and fixes, no matter how awkward or old, it’s a great challenge finding something new that works so we can provide a great service for EVERY customer, not just fresh meat.
I also offer body piercing in the studio, as well as piercing removal. This includes almost every needle piercing you can think of, as well as a range of skin divers, dermal anchors and surface/corsetry piercing.
I’m currently in my second year as an apprentice under Sam so I’ve only just started this fascinating artistic journey! I’m very passionate about art and revel in any opportunity to engage my creativity. I feel excited about pouring this energy into my work. I like pretty much all styles of art but I’m especially into black and grey, realism and dark imagery. I’m proud to be joining the tattooing family here and look forward to what the future holds.
